Requirements

We are seeking an ambitious Oracle EBS Junior Technical Analyst to support development, reporting, testing, and data operations across Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 as part of a large-scale ERP modernization initiative. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with strong analytical and technical skills who are eager to grow into full EBS technical consultant roles.

You will work closely with senior technical analysts, DBAs, and functional consultants to assist with SQL/PLSQL development, reporting, integrations, troubleshooting, and documentation. This position offers exceptional hands-on learning in Oracle ERP systems and enterprise-grade technical operations within a structured, supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and maintaining Oracle EBS code such as SQL/PLSQL scripts, functions, and procedures.

  • Support enhancements to reporting components, BI Publisher/XML Publisher layouts, and concurrent programs.

  • Help modify or troubleshoot existing EBS technical objects under the guidance of senior team members.

  • Support development and maintenance of financial and operational reports using SQL, BI Publisher, and extracts.

  • Assist in designing report parameters, templates, and data source queries.

  • Conduct data validation, reconciliations, and troubleshooting of report discrepancies.

  • Support interface development activities including file generation, file intake, data mapping, and staging logic.

  • Execute data extract scripts and validate interface files during testing cycles.

  • Work with senior developers to troubleshoot interface errors and data transformation issues.

  • Participate in testing cycles including: Unit Testing; System Integration Testing (SIT); User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Execute test scripts, validate results, and document defects.

  • Track and retest fixes, ensuring technical components meet quality standards.

  • Analyze logs, investigate SQL errors, review concurrent program output, and identify potential issues.

  • Escalate complex problems to senior technical staff and assist with resolution steps.

  • Participate in production support activities as needed.

  • Contribute to writing and updating: Technical documentation; Code comments; Data mapping sheets; Runbooks; SOPs.

  • Ensure documentation follows change management, configuration control, and governance standards.

  • Work closely with functional analysts to understand business processes and data requirements.

  • Participate in technical design discussions, code walkthroughs, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

  • Grow technical understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, data models, APIs, and open interfaces.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).

  • 0–2 years in technical roles supporting ERP, financial systems, or enterprise applications.

  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.

  • CompTIA Security+ certification, or ability to obtain prior to project start.

  • Foundational understanding of Oracle SQL, joins, filtering, and aggregations.

  • Exposure to PL/SQL, BI Publisher, or similar data/reporting tools.

  • Ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into basic logic or SQL queries.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work in a remote environment with occasional travel onsite to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to Oracle EBS R12 modules (Finance or Procurement).

  • Experience using SQL Developer, SQL*Plus, or similar database IDEs.

  • Basic scripting exposure (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, or hybrid ERP delivery frameworks.

  • Oracle PL/SQL certification or Oracle Foundations certifications (preferred).

  • Experience supporting technical work in public-sector or regulated environments.
